Description
Skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and a dry skin increased the last number of years. One of the main reasons is a shortage of essential fatty acids. We must receive these fatty acids from our diet or from the topical application. All cells produce hormones from these fatty acids. These hormones influence all aspects of local cell activity. They are involved in such activity as inflammation, healing and cell growth and dying. When we don’t have enough of the correct fats, these processes of every day life do not operate at peak efficiency. Emu oil can provide the necessary fats that are required to normal cellular function.
If you think of our skin as the largest cell wall we have. A dry, itchy skin (i.e., a defective skin) is a sign of missing essential fatty acids.
Emu oil
The Emu is a flightless bird from Australia. Since time memorial, Aboriginals used the fat from the emu to maintain their skin.
From the fat we derive this extraordinary oil with highly valuable cosmetic and moisturizing properties.
