First of all, we have to make clear that a cream always is composed of water and oil.
EmuCare acne cream is composed of 2 important oily components, emu oil and chaulmoogra oil. Both natural oils. Emu oil is non-comedogenic: it does not clog the pores, and the oil is highly penetrating through all skin layers. This enables the oil to repair/reinforce the connective tissue, subcutaneously. Scars become soft and smooth.
Chaulmoogra Oil inhibits the growth of the specific bacteria which causes acne, Lactobacillus acnes.
The cream is composed in a way that the skin doesn’t look dull. It will absolutely not leave a greasy film.

EmuCare acne cream is available in 2 varieties:
1. for the oily skin
2. for the dry/normal skin

Both types nourishes carefully and will not dry out the skin, which mostly happens when using ordinary acne creams. However, when you have an oily skin, you will prefer a cream to penetrate quickly and certainly leave no greasy residue. EmuCare acne cream for the oily skin definitely avoids that. Both creams will not give you a dull exposure.

We have chosen for this composition in order to apply and distribute the cream more easily on the skin surface. In this way the activity of the cream is the most effective.

EmuCare acne cream contains ingredients which have no harmful effect when the skin is exposed to sunlight.

During pregnancy the system of hormones changes considerably. This can be expressed in many ways. One example is pimples. It is recommended to exclude the use of acne products, in order to avoid any damage to the foetus.
The raw materials used for EmuCare Creams are not under any suspect.

We live in symbiosis with all kinds of micro-organism: on our body and in our body. We need this micro-organism for all kinds of body functions. Also our skin contains bacteria. This skin flora is important to keep our skin healthy. One of these bacteria is Lactobacillus acnes. It is a bacterium which exists in acidic environment and produces lactic acid. Unfortunately, this bacterium is responsible for acne. EmuCare acne cream inhibits the growth of only these bacteria, and therefore other skin flora maintain balanced.

P. acnes stands for Propionibacterium acnes, which is an anaerobic bacteria located in the follicle of the sebaceous gland and is involved in the inflammatory aspect of acne. This bacterium also produces acid, called propionic acid.
EmuCare acne cream inhibits not only the growth of lactobacillus acnes, but also Propionibacterium acnes and other acidic-producing bacteria. However they are causing much less problems.

EmuCare acne creams are perfect to use as a basic cream. Usual cosmetics like a foundation or rouge can be applied without any problem.

The use of a facial cleaner, special soap or other cleansers is not necessary and even not recommended. Actually, cleaning the skin with water is sufficient. Before applying the cream, hands need to be washed as a minimum contribution to your hygiene.

The use of medicines always needs to be continued. Interruption can only be determined by your physician. EmuCare acne cream will not influence the activity of the medicines. There is no interaction known between raw materials used for EmuCare acne cream and pharmaceuticals.
